    A broadband electrical substitution radiometer includes a substrate, an isolation layer disposed on the substrate, an electrical thermometer-heater disposed on the isolation layer, an electrical lead in electrical communication with the electrical thermometer-heater, selective removal of the substrate to form a suspended isolation layer, and an optical absorber disposed on the isolation layer. The isolation layer comprises a thermal isolation platform, a thermal isolation support beam, and a thermal isolation island. The electrical thermometer-heater is disposed on the thermal isolation island and detects a change in temperature and controllably heats the isolation layer. The electrical lead receives a signal from and provides power to the electrical thermometer-heater. The optical absorber absorbs radiation incident on the radiometer.

An optical arrangement provides optical paths for guiding radiation between the source and the output units and between the receiving units and the detectors. A switching arrangement controls the optical arrangement to selectively implement a plurality of measuring modes. Each measuring mode involves optical connection of the source to a corresponding output unit of the plurality of output units. The corresponding output unit is different for each measuring mode.

The present invention is an imide resin material which is constituted from an imide compound and which contains a compound represented by formula (1). The weight average molecular weight of the overall imide resin material, as measured by GPC, is 5000 or more. The content ratio of components having the weight average molecular weight of 500-3000 in the imide resin material is 5 mass% or more.
