A tilt sensor may be configured to detect when the device has been tilted out of vertical, and when the tilt sensor detects that the device has been tilted out of vertical to exceed a tilt threshold, the motion of the fan blades becomes deactivated and/or the one or more UV light emitting elements becomes deactivated.

Here, the Cas12a protein or a variant thereof may be linked to one or more nuclear localization signals. A target nucleic acid in a eukaryotic genome can be edited by using the novel CRISPR/Cas12a system disclosed in the present specification and a method for editing a eukaryotic genome. Therefore, the novel CRISPR/Cas12a system can be utilized in techniques in various contexts requiring eukaryotic genome editing.

The sum of the first and second angles is the divergence angle. The apparatus can be used in a probe assembly (200) to determine tip clearance of a turbine blade (120) during operation of a gas turbine engine (50).
