    An infrared sensor according to the present disclosure includes an output pixel, and a switcher. The output pixel includes infrared photodetectors. The switcher switches each of the infrared photodetectors between a first state and a second state independently with a predetermined period P. In the first state, the infrared photodetector is able to change in temperature in response to receiving infrared radiation. In the second state, the infrared photodetector is maintained at a predetermined temperature. Switching of the infrared photodetectors from the second state S2 to the first state S1 is executed sequentially in the period P at a predetermined time interval ti. The output pixel includes N infrared photodetectors. The time interval ti divided by the period P is greater than or equal to 1/(N+1) and less than or equal to 1/(N−1).

    Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for the production of printing forms for flexographic printing. The apparatus includes a carrier plate on a retaining device, a reservoir and an exposure apparatus. A solidifiable medium is applied to a carrier plate in regions or at certain points in at least one layer in order to configure a raised surface of the printing form. At least one exposure apparatus emits UV radiation, points which are exposed to this radiation. By the sequence of exposure over a defined time and subsequent movement of the carrier plate, preferably in the vertical direction to the exposure apparatus, the solidifiable medium is solidified layer by layer. Thus a raised printing form is produced by repetition of this sequence.

    A method of calibrating a monitoring system (10,14) is described in which a calibration phantom (70) is located with its center located approximately at the isocenter of a treatment room through which a treatment apparatus (16) is arranged to direct radiation, wherein the surface of the calibration phantom (70) closest to an image capture device (72) of the monitoring system (10,14) is inclined approximately 45° relative to the camera plane of an image capture device of the monitoring system. Images of the calibration phantom (70) are then captured using the image capture device (72) and the images are processed to generate a model of the imaged surface of the calibration phantom. The generated model of the imaged surface of the calibration phantom (70) is then utilized to identify the relative location of the center of the calibration phantom (70) and the camera plane of the image capture device (72) which is then utilized to determine the relative location of the camera plane of the image capture device and the isocenter of a treatment room.
