A number of nuclear energy-related agreements were among the 33 memorandums of understanding signed between South Korean and Polish companies during the Korea-Poland Business Forum in Warsaw.

South Korea's Ministry of Industry is to review the need for new nuclear power plants to expand the country's power supply to meet predicted increased demand for electricity.

The energy ministers of Ukraine and Bulgaria have signed a memorandum of understanding to "deepen cooperation" in the energy sector, including "participation in joint projects and initiatives involving joint activities in the field of nuclear energy".
