Exhibition of the 40th Anniversary of RCA during the 56th IAEA General Conference 17-21 September, IAEA   Booth of the 40th Anniversary of RCA   Visit of Mr. Yukiya Amano (Director General of IAEA)   Cake cutting by Mr. Anhar Riza ANTARIKSAWAN (Former RCA Chair), Mr. Yukiya Amano (Director General, IAEA) and Mr. Jin Kyu LIM (Acting Director, RCARO)      Visit of Mr. Yul-Rae CHO, Vice Minister of Ministry of Education, Science and Technology of the Republic of Korea    Opening Ceremony   Through active support and participation of the RCA Member States and IAEA, the exhibition celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the RCA has been successfully completed receiving excellent reviews from the audiences. The exhibition was held from 17 to 21 September during the 56th IAEA General Conference in Rotunda, IAEA in Vienna, Austria.   The RCA Regional Office organized overall preparation of the exhibition ;redesigning of panels, demonstration of the RCA promotional video, distribution of the RCA brochures, Success Stories, booklets of Member States, and displaying sample products resulted from the RCA projects.        

  2012 RCARO Workshop ON Enhancing Strategic Goals of RCARO was held on 10-12 July 2012 in Jeju. RCARO organized the workshop with aims to brainstorm on the following topics: 1) To review and evaluate the RCARO activities and discuss future directions to strengthen its role 2) To discuss the matter on the coordination of the thematic areas for the RCA projects 3) To discuss preparation of the panels for the RCA 40th anniversary exhibition For more information, please refer http://www.rcaro.org/activities_s/view/id/2275. 

Completion of RCA/UNDP Project Regional Training Courses 6th August 2011 Seoul National University Bundang Hospital, Republic of Korea     RCA-UNDP Regional Training Courses have been successfully completed on 6th July 2012. Participants of the training courses had a meeting to review progress of the national activities and exchange feedbacks on the Regional Training Courses for improvement.   Participants thanked Director and staff of RCARO and PLCC as well as his staff from Seoul National University Bundang Hospital for the fruitful courses. 

Initiation of 2012 RCA/UNDP Project Regional Training Courses 18 June 2012 Seoul National University Bundang Hospital, Republic of Korea         The 2012 Regional Training Courses of RCA/UNDP Project have been successfully initiated on 18 June 2012 at  Seoul Natinoal University Bundang Hospital, Republic of Korea. Total 19 participants from 11 Member States will be attending the training courses for untill 6 July 2012.

RCARO's Participation in the Pacific Basin Nuclear Conference 18-23 March 2012, Busan Republic of Korea      

  The 13th FNCA Coordinators Meeting was held on 7-9 March 2012 Fukui, Japan. On behalf of RCA, Acting director of RCARO participated in the meeting and delivered a presentation on RCA activities for cooperation between RCA and FNCA.

Annual Review Meeting of RCA/UNDP Project "Promoting and Accelerating Nuclear SPECT/PET Imaging Technologies in the Region" 20-21 Dec. 2011, Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia         The Annual Review Meeting of RCA/UNDP Project on "Promoting and Accelerating Nuclear SPECT/PET Imaging Technologies in the Region" was successfully held on 20-21 Dec. 2011, Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia. The meeting reviewed achievements and progress in 2011 and set 2012 work plan.   There were 21 participants from Australia, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Pakistan, Republic of Korea, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam as well as RCARO and ARCCNM. The participants actively participated in the meeting and thanked staff of RCARO for organizing the event.
