Meeting of the RCA Working Group on the RCA MTS 2018-2023 13-15 May 2016Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia

Mr Pornthep Nisamaneephong, Executive Director of Thailand Institute of Nuclear Technology(TINT),  and his staff visited the RCA Regional Office on April 26th, 2016. Mr Nisamaneephong and his staff had discussions with the RCARO to develop bilateral cooperation between TINT and RCARO.

Australia's Promotion of the RCA  at Conference of Australian and New Zealand Society of Nuclear Medicine 2016  held on 22-25 April 2016 in Rotorua, New Zealand Representatives of the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organistion (ANSTO) participated in the Conference of Australian and New Zealand Society of Nuclear Medicine (ANZSNM) 2016 held on 22-25 April 2016 in Rotorua, New Zealand. RCARO provided RCA promotional materials for the promotion of the RCA. 

First Coordination Meeting of RAS6083 Improving Patient Care and Enhancing Government Parties Capacity in Nuclear Medicine Programmes in RCA Region  11-15 April 2016, Gwangju, Korea           First Coordination Meeting of the RAS6083, "Improving Patient Care and Enhancing Government Parties Capacity in Nuclear Medicine Programmes in RCA Region" was held on 11-15 April 2016 in Gwangju, Republic of Korea. A total of 29 participants from 17 countries reviewed the current status of nuclear medicine  and discussed detailed project activities stipulated in the work plan for implementation under the project.

The 17th FNCA Coordinators Meeting8-10 March 2016Tokyo, JapanThe 17th FNCA Coordinators Meeting was held on 8-10 March 2016 in Tokyo, Japan. On behalf of IAEA/RCA, the Director of RCARO participated in the meeting and delivered a presentation on IAEA/RCA Activities Reports and the Cooperation with FNCA.

    Mr. Sinh Hoang, RCA Focal Person, Division for Asia and the Pacific, Department of Technical Cooperation of IAEA visited the RCA Regional Office. He had fruitful discussion with the RCARO to enhance cooperation between the IAEA and the RCARO.  

The 3rd Working Group Meeting on the RCARO's Future Role  19-21 January 2016 Ramada Plaza Hotel, Jeju, Korea The 3rd Working Group Meeting on the RCARO's Future Role was held on 19-21 January 2016 at the Ramada Plaza hotel in Jeju, Korea. RCARO organised the workshop to discuss and review RCARO Managed Programmes such as Supplementary Projects, Research Projects and Training Projects and its 2016 Work Plan and possible means to Support the IAEA.

Mr. Oscar Acuna, Head of Asia and the Pacific Section, Division for Asia and the Pacific, Department of Technical Cooperation of IAEA visited the RCA Regional Office. Mr. Oscar Acuna had fruitful discussion with the RCARO to develop bilateral cooperation between the IAEA and the RCARO.
