(31 Oct. - 4 Nov. 08) A joint training course on nuclear medicine was organized with the Asian Regional Cooperative Council for Nuclear Medicine (ARCCNM), in conjunction with the 7th General Meeting of ARCCNM and the 9th AOCNMB. For the joint training course, the RCARO provided financial support to 25 participants from the RCA Member States and 5 lecturers. The training course provided a good opportunity for the participants to attain useful information on the latest information and advanced knowledge in diverse fields of cutting-edge nuclear medicine.

During the meetings, the RCARO Director Kun-mo Choi gave a presentation on the RCA and RCARO activities at the 6th Delegate Assembly of the ARCCNM. Since the Member States of the ARCCNM and the RCA are similar, many delegates from the ARCCNM showed great interest in the RCA activities and in exploring joint projects with the RCARO in the future.
