As part of RCARO’s effort to increase awareness of RCA to the stakeholders, RCARO had a presentation meeting with RCA stakeholders of the Philippines on 16 December 2004 at PNRI (Philippine Nuclear Research Institute, Quezon City). The meeting was attended by the nation’s RCA stakeholders not only from PNRI but also from other related institutions. Before the meeting with RCA stakeholders, RCARO (Mr K-M Choi, Director and Mr John Chung, Programme Officer) met with Dr Alumanda Dela Rosa, Director of PNRI (National RCA Representative), Dr Corazon Bernido, Deputy Director and the staff for future silver cord cooperation between RCARO and the Member States.

At the meeting, RCARO also explained about the revised RCA Guidelines and Operating Rules, in particular the roles and responsibilities of National Project Coordinators (NPCs) of RCA project. The PNRI expressed appreciation about RCARO's contribution to the sustainable development of RCA including efforts for promoting RCA information flow and nuclear knowledge preservation and enhancement.
