The Sixty-First session of the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) is scheduled to be held at United Nations Conference Centre (UNCC) in Bangkok, Thailand, from 12 to 18 May 2005. In view of the recent tsunami disaster, a special High-level Panel on Tsunami Recovery Development will be held in the morning of Monday, 16 May 2005 to discuss re-construction and recovery efforts in the affected regions.
