As part of RCARO's awareness increasing activities, RCARO had a briefing meeting for diplomatic mission representatives of RCA Member States stationed in Korea on 26 April 2005 at Marriot Hotel in Seoul. Mission representatives were briefed on the outcomes from the 27th Regional Meeting of National RCA Representatives (NRM) held in Malaysia in early April 2005. RCARO also made presentation on the 2005 Work Plan that was reported to the 27th NRM and approved by the Meeting.

Mission representatives congratulated RCARO for entering into full operation beyond the interim operational period and the appointment of the new Director, Mr Kun-Mo Choi, by the 27th NRM as well. They also expressed interests in various modalities of RCA cooperative projects and, in particular, the projection of the 2007-08 RCA projects. Meanwhile, they expressed views on the possible contribution by the nuclear technologies in facilitating post-measures of the Tsunami disaster that affected many RCA Member States last December.
