The Board of Trustees of the Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute (KAERI) recently elected Dr Chang-Kyu Park (54) as the 16th KAERI President. Dr C K Park will formally assume his duties and responsibilities as the President from 29 April 2005. Dr C K Park graduated Seoul National University in nuclear engineering and further studied at MIT and University of Michigan where he earned MS and Ph.D degrees, respectively. He joined in KAERI in 1989 and was responsible for various missions. His latest responsibility was nuclear hydrogen project as the Vice-president of KAERI.
