Prof. Dr. Myung-Chul Lee, Honorary Chairman of Asian Regional Cooperative Council for Nuclear Medicine (ARCCN) and also the President of World Federation of Nuclear Medicine & Biology expressed his wish to cooperate with RCA in nuclear medicine, in particular in the areas of training of nuclear medicine technicians. Prof. M. C. Lee and the staff of ARCCN visited RCARO on 2 June 2005 and exchanged views on how to enhance nuclear medicine in Asian region.

Prof. M. C. Lee suggested that nuclear medicine facilities within ARCCN framework can be used for on-the-job training or practical teaching course for nuclear medicine technicians of RCA Member States in Asian region. Prof. Jong-Kyung Kim, Director General, Innovative Technology Center for Radiation Safety (ITRS), Hanyang University, was among the visitors to RCARO.
