The National RCA Representatives of the 17 Member States will convene on 23 September 2005 in Vienna to deal with major policy matters that RCA needs further actions. Among the issues to be discussed, RCA Medium Term Strategy and RCA Programme for 2007-08 will be highlighted.
The National Representatives of RCA Member States have been convening policy level meetings twice a year; one in September during the IAEA General Conference and another in March or April at a Member State. This year's September RCA General Conference Meeting (GCM) will the 34th meeting according to the RCA chronology. The meeting venue is the Austria Center in Vienna (ACV)

At the 34th RCA GCM, the National RCA Representatives will discuss RCA Medium Term Strategy that a Working Group recently developed, consider RCA 2007-08 Programme, review recommendations of the RCA Thematic Sector Lead Country Coordinators' (TSLCCs) meeting that was held in the first of August 2005 in Vienna, and will adopt Guidelines for Projects Initiated by RCARO, respectively.

Prior to the 34th RCA GCM, the first RCARO Standing Advisory Committee (SAC) will also meet to give advice and make recommendations on the current issues of RCARO. Members of the newly constituted SAC are AUL, MAL, PAK, THA, ROK and the IAEA/RCA Coordinator.
