IAEA/RCA Regional Training Course (RTC) on “DAT (Distance Assisted Training) Programme Management” will be held in Sydney, Australia in 5-8 September 2005. The main objective of the training course is to train the participants on DAT Programme Management to enable establishment of sustainable DAT Programme, in particular for the nuclear medicine technologists, in participating Member States.
The IAEA/RCA Project, Distance Assisted Training (DAT) Programme for Nuclear Medicine Technologists will be completed at the end of 2005 and as a final result, “DAT Programme” will be produced. The DAT Programme consists of Distance Assisted Training Materials and Guidelines for their use. In order to use the DAT Programme, the each Member State should establish a National DAT Programme Authority under the auspices of a Professional Society or a Government Department. Moreover, this Authority must accept the long-term responsibility for conducting the DAT programme.
