Dr Alumanda Dela Rosa, the National RCA Representative of the Philippines and Director of the Philippine Nuclear Research Institute (PNRI) was honored by presenting Women in Nuclear Global Award from the World Nuclear Association (WNA) on the occasion of its 30th Annual Symposium, 7-9 Sep. 2005, QE II Conference Centre in London.

Dr Alumanda Dela Rosa has been nominated by the IAEA to WNA for the Award for distinguished contribution to the world nuclear endeavors. The recognition was made at a ceremony entitled 'Honoring Women in Nuclear - the Organization and Principle' during the Symposium. Dr Dela Rosa spoke on the value of women in nuclear at the ceremony.
