Workshop on Developing Future RCA Environment Strategy will be held in Daejon, Korea from 20-22 February 2006 followed by the Pre-Project Review Meeting on the Post-Tsunami Environment Impact Assessment in 23-24 Feb. 2006 at the same venue.

The Workshop will develop future RCA strategy for environment project, mainly focused on marine environment, will identify future RCA environment projects on a near-term basis for the benefit of the RCA region. The 3-year Post-Tsunami environment project supported by UNDP (Korea) will review the project nature as well as the implementation plan. The two events are being initiated by RCARO within the mandate given to the RCARO. The outcomes from the two meetings will be reported to the RCA National Representatives Meeting for their support.
