IAEA/RCA Project Lead Country Coordinators (PLCCs) meeting will be arranged in 15-19 May 2006 at IAEA Head Office in Vienna to develop better project documents (full project proposals) for 2007-08 cycles projects that will be supported by the IAEA.
The selected number of RCA projects for 2007-08 cycles to be funded from IAEA's TCF (Technical Co-operation Fund) is approximately 14. In 2005-06 cycles, the number of new projects was 21. Each project designates a Project Lead Country Coordinator who takes leadership for the project.

For 2007-08 cyclces projects however, it is required to develop the living proposal in conforming IAEA's new established technical co-operation strategy which practically implies the use of outcomes from the projects by the end-users(beneficiaries) with emphasis on contributing to the MDGs, sustainability of the project, and further demonstrating the distinctive advantages of nuclear technologies.

At the meeting, the PLCCs are supposed to practice the Logical Framework Matrix (LFM), a very effective tool for designing a project that helps analyzing all aspects of the projects.

Also, the IAEA developed TCMF (Programme Cycle Management Framework) is advised to use to facilitate communication among the stakeholders in preparing the full project documents.
