Mr Chouvana Rodthongkom, Secretary General (SG) of the Office of Atoms for Peace (OAP) of Thailand formally assumed the new National RCA Representative of Thailand, as of 17 January 2007, replacing Mr Manoon Aramrattana, former SG of OAP.

Mr Chouvana Rodthongkom was the Deputy Secretary General of OAP responsible for Administration and Regulation and also served many years as the Director of Chemistry Division of OAP. His scientific background is chemistry. He was formally appointed as the SG of OAP in November 2006.
