The 36th RCA General Conference Meeting (GCM) was held on September 14, 2007 at IAEA Headquarters in Vienna, Austria. Participants were delegates from 17 RCA Member States, together with representatives from the RCA Regional Office and the IAEA. The GCM reviewed and prioritized 9 out of 11 projects to be implemented in 2009-2011. The progress of implementation of the RCA Medium Term Strategy was also reviewed, and decisions were made for further action to be taken. The GCM acknowledged the outcomes of the RCARO Future Strategy Workshop, the 1st Selection Committee meeting for the Director of the RCARO, and the RCA Working Group meeting. The GCM concluded with the revised adoption of the RCA Resolution on the Roles and Status of the RCA Regional Office.
