Representatives of 17 RCA Member States together with representatives of RCA Regional Office (RCARO) and the IAEA will meet on 14 September 2007 at the IAEA Headquarters in Vienna to consider the RCA projects for the next cycle (2009-2011) and to discuss other policy issues regarding the sustainable development of RCA.

Representatives of 17 RCA Member States in Asia and the Pacific region have been convened twice a year, i.e., in March at a Member State and in September in conjunction with the IAEA General Conference Meeting in Vienna, to deal with major issues surrounding the RCA. This year's September meeting, or RCA General Conference Meeting (GCM) will mainly review the on-going RCA projects and to consider the next cycle projects that will be implemented from 2009 for a three-year term. The RCA GCM this year marks the 36th meeting that has been held since 1972. Other issues such as promoting RCA partnerships and increasing awareness of RCA will also be discussed.

An RCA Exhibition explaining the spirit of RCA as well as some significant achievements that the RCA has recently produced will be arranged at the Austria Center in Vienna during the 50th IAEA General Conference Meeting.
