Three meetings were held on 23-26 July 2007 at Sheraton Grande Walkerhill Hotel in Seoul, Korea to prepare for the recruitment of the next RCARO Director, to discuss the future strategies of the RCA Regional Office and to have initial discussions on the roles and status of the RCARO. The meetings were participated in by the RCA Chairman, the RCA Focal Person, some members of the RCA Standing Advisory Committee and the RCA Selection Committee and chief representatives of the host government of Korea.

The meetings resulted in conclusions and recommendations for approval by the National Representatives in the next General Conference. These include amendments on the guidelines for the selection and recruitment of the RCA Director, recommendations for future strategies, and recommendations on the actions to be taken regarding the status of the RCARO.
