The 30th RCA National Representative Meeting is to be held for 8-10 April 2008 in Hanoi, Vietnam, for which a preliminary agenda is being elaborated for review of 2007 Performance and 2008 Work Plan, including the selection of the RCA projects for the next budget cycle (2009-2011) for which a meeting for discussion with relevant stakeholders was held for 11-15 February 2008 in Vienna. Prior to the 30th NRM, on the 7th of April, the 6th SAC (Standing Advisory Committee) Meeting of RCARO is to be held for review of 2007 Performance and 2008 Work Plan of the RCARO.

The 30th NRM and 6th SAC meeting are to be chaired by the NR of Vietnam who becomes the new Chair of the RCA Committee and the SAC of the RCARO, together with the immediate past RCA Chair (AUL) and the immediate next RCA Chair (JPN). According to the RCA Guidelines and Operating Rules, communications by the relevant secretariat in preparation for the 30th NRM and the 6th SAC are to be made henceforth with the new RCA Chairs with a copy to the out-going Chair (THA) for reference.
