Personnel shifts were made in the Division for Asia and the Pacific of the Department of Technical Cooperation (TCAP), IAEA, with effect from 9th of February 2009. The current Director of the Division, Mr Peter Salema, has been appointed as the Director of the Division for Europe, and Mr Yang Dazhu who functioned as the National RCA Representative of China has been appointed as the Director of TCAP.

Mr Zhang Jing who served as Section Head of TCAP1 has been transferred to Division for Africa, and will be succeeded by Mr Mokdad Maksoudi, currently one of the two Section Heads in the Division for Africa and former AFRA Coordinator.
