Mr Kun-Mo Choi, who has served as the Director of RCA Regional Office, since 2005, is leaving the RCARO as of the 3rd of April 2009 to get back to the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology of ROK. A new Director will be appointed at the upcoming RCA NRM to be held on 21-23 April in Tokyo and the Programme Officer will act for the interim period.

The leaving Director took office in 2005 in time for the full operation of the RCA Regional Office and has provided memorable services during his term of office, including among others publication of RCA Success Stories, development of partnership projects, and launch of the RCA/UNDP project on tsunami. The RCARO on behalf of the RCA community expresses a heartfelt farewell to the leaving Director.
