In accordance with the plan of activities of the RCA Programme in 2010, IAEA/RCA Mid-term Progress Review Meeting is to be held on 2-7 August 2010, Hanoi, Vietnam. The purpose of the Mid-Term Progress Review Meetings on Applying Advanced Digital Industrial Radiology and Computed Tomography in Industry and Civil Engineering is to review the main achievements and progress made so far by the Member States in project implementation. The meeting will also discuss the constraints faced by the MSs in achieving the project objectives and discuss the possible solutions to ensure successful completion of the project and to ensure its sustainability. Subject to the decision of the Regional Meeting of the National RCA Representatives to be held in April 2010, the Mid-Term Progress Review Meeting will also provide an opportunity for the participants to discuss the scope of a possible project for implementation under the 2012-2013 TC Cycle. National RCA Representatives need to inform of suitable candidates for this event, not later than 31st of May 2010, with the completed and endorsed nomination form. More details and requirements for participation are given in the attached sheet. |
