The Research Coordination Meeting for the RCA Research Project on “Closing the Gap in Radiotherapy Access in RCA Government Parties (RCARP03)” was held on 29-31 May 2023, organised by the RCA Regional Office in cooperation with INS. There was a total of 19 participants comprising the Chief Scientific Investigators (CSIs) from 8 RCA Government Parties (GPs), the Technical Officer (TO) of the project, the relevant expert and RCARO. The Meeting reviewed and discussed the progress of the research activities of 2022, and agreed on the work plans for 2023-2024. A technical workshop was alo held to share knowledge and expertise in the estimation of core investment required for radiotherapy for closing the gap in radiotherapy services in the region.
