Dr. Sueo Machi, former Deputy Director General of the IAEA and former FNCA Coordinator of Japan passed away in the evening on Aug. 15, 2015.

Recently he has suffered from advanced cancer and been hospitalised.

We wish to extend our deepest condolences to his family and Japanese nuclear society. May he rest in peace.
