The 43^rd Meeting of the National RCA Representatives (NRM) and its preparatory meetings, namely the Meeting of the RCA Chairs and the 32^nd RCARO Standing Advisory Committee (SAC) Meeting, were held on 27-29 April 2021 via the Microsoft Teams platform.

The 43^rd NRM was attended by the representatives from 20 Government Parties, the IAEA, FNCA and RCARO. In his remarks, Mr Hua Liu, the IAEA Deputy Director General, appreciated the innovative implementation of the RCA Programme under the difficult situation of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. Chaired by the NR of Thailand, the Meeting covered 16 agendas as well as other relevant issues for two days on 28-29 April 2021. Major agendas included the report of the RCA Programme Advisory Committee on the preparation of the RCA Programme 2022-2023 and development of the RCA Regional Programme Framework 2024-2029, reports of the Working Groups on the RCA Medium Term Strategy and the Special Task Force on the preparation of the 50^th Anniversary of the RCA.

Based on the previous experiences of the 42^nd NRM and 49^th General Conference Meeting (GCM) in 2020, the participants well adopted the new form of the meeting and succeeded to make necessary decisions for effective implementation of the RCA Programme in the upcoming years.
