IAEA/RCA Regional Training Workshop on Environmental Impact and Assessment Modeling will be held in 23-27 June 2003 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Malaysian Institute for Nuclear Technologies (MINT) will be the organizer.

The main purpose of the Workshop is i) to standardize the approach and methodology for radioactive liquid and gaseous effluent monitoring besides to standardize dose assessment of the released effluents, ii) to encourage an exchange of information on the latest technology besides to acquire new methodology in control techniques of liquid and gaseous effluent, sampling methods, monitoring methods and modeling of diffusion in order to harmonize procedures and iii) to ensure high standard of analysis of environment or samples and dose assessment.
