The IAEA/RCA Regional Training Workshop on 'Data Validation for Airborne Particulate' will be held in Mumbai, India, in 13-17 October 2003. The purpose of this workshop is to provide the participants from the RCA Member States with an understanding of data validation approaches and familiarize them with data validation methods.

This workshop is also aimed at making participants learn approaches to developing a data quality management system and multi-level data validation methods. The participants will be persons actively engaged (e.g. as analysis or as end-users) in a national program of monitoring and/or research involving the determination of toxic and/or other trace elements in airborne particulate matter.
