The IAEA will hold a Technical Meeting on the Asian Network for Higher Education in Nuclear Technology (ANENT) from 23-27 February 2004 at MINT (Malaysian Institute for Nuclear Technology Research), Malaysia. The overall objective of the ANENT, which is initiated by Department of Nuclear Energy of IAEA, is to facilitate co-operation in nuclear education in Asia. The kick-off meeting of ANENT was held in July in Korea. The meeting next year in K.L. will be a technical meeting in which participating Member States will specify the needs for establishing higher nuclear educational network in Asia and to adopt an action plan for practical implementation.
