IAEA/RCA Technical Meeting on “Research Reactor Instrumentation and Control” will be held in 3-7 May 2004 in Daejeon, Korea. The overall objective of the meeting is to discuss and share the experience of the I&C systems in the existing research reactors and the new design and implementation techniques of I&C systems for new research reactors to be built in the region. The meeting also intends to discuss the design and implementation aspects of the next generation I&C technology to be applied to new research reactors and for feedback into the existing reactors.

The expected outputs of the meeting include preparation of upgradation/modification plan for the research reactors operating with old I&C systems and design of suitable modern systems for new upcoming and/or planned research reactors.
