In an effort to increase RCA awareness and to promote RCA profile to the diplomatic mission representatives of RCA Member States stationed in Korea, RCARO organized a briefing meeting on 26 March 2004 at Seoul Palace Hotel, Seoul. The meeting also aimed to provide background information on the 26th Meeting of National RCA Representatives (NRM) to be held in Islamabad, Pakistan, 12-15 April 2004.

At the meeting, RCARO made presentation on the overall profiles of IAEA, RCA and RCARO, with particular stress on the RCARO initiated new programmes that have been underlined on nuclear knowledge preservation and enhancement activities. At the same time, RCARO introduced the April Islamabad RCA meeting with its background, items to discuss, special events, and so on.

Mr Kim, Jin-Kyoung, Director, RCARO, said at the meeting that RCARO will make every possible effort to serve for the development of RCA and for the benefit of the Member States. RCARO had the first Mission Briefing meeting last year in March prior to the 25th Meeting of National RCA Representatives in Colombo.
