RCA Regional Training Course on Induced Mutations for Crop Quality Improvement will be held in Beijing, China in 30 August - 8 September 2004. The objective of the training course is to provide young scientists involved in the project with advanced knowledge and skill related to evaluation, selection and improvement of crop quality traits. The training course is expected to help the scientists to improve and update their knowledge of mutation induction and selection and improvement of important quality characters, their genomic, biochemical and physiological basis and the methodologies of national and international standard evaluation protocols.
