WNA (World Nuclear Association) 2004 Annual Symposium will be held in 8-10 September 2004 at Queen Elizabeth II Conference Center in London. WNA's Annual Symposium is the leading international meeting for the global nuclear industry, with an attendance of over 400 people from some 25 countries. The overall theme of the Symposium will be "Building towards an expanding nuclear future", emphasizing measures that have been introduced or which will need in order to lay a firm foundation for a substantial growth in the global industry.
Against this background, it is expected that Symposium sessions will include coverage of the following main subject areas as Non-power applications of nuclear energy (e.g. hydrogen production and desalination), nuclear power and sustainable development, radiological protection - current and future trends, radioactive waste management and decommissioning and so on.
