The 12th WIN (Women In Nuclear) Global meeting was held in 17-19 May at Tokyo Dome Hotel in Tokyo. Delegates from almost 20 WIN member countries presented country reports at the meeting. Importance of public nuclear information was reiterated. Ms Ogawa Junko, WIN-Japan President, was elected as the new WIN Global President succeeding Ms Annick Carnino, former IAEA's Director for Nuclear Installations Safety. RCARO partook in the meeting and advertised RCA activities. In particular, RCARO made a presentation at WIN Asia meeting on 16 May evening on nuclear public acceptance and the regional cooperation.
