In 30 more years of RCA history, Member States adopted a uniformed logo. At the 26th Meeting of National RCA Representatives held in 12-15 April 2004 in Islamabad, Pakistan, Member States adopted a newly designed RCA logo that was created by RCARO upon request by the Member States. The new logo was designed on the basis of Mercadator projection that accommodated all Member States of Asia and the Pacific area. Member States also decided the guidelines on the use of the logo. The basic shade of color is blue that demonstrates peace.

Guidelines on the use of the RCA logo

It is noted that there have been several different versions of RCA logo that have been used in various occasions such as printing RCA related report. With the adoption of a newly designed logo, Member States can now enjoy a uniformed logo and also contribute to the increase of RCA profile.

According to the guidelines, when using the RCA logo together with the IAEA logo in documents and other formal occasions related to IAEA/RCA activities, the IAEA logo shall be located at the left hand side, with the RCA logo at the right hand side. In such case, both logos do not necessarily need to be accompanied by acronyms like IAEA and RCA. When using the RCA logo in documents and other occasions that have already been approved by the National RCA Representatives, it shall be located in the top center of the documents. When using the RCA logo with acronym 'RCA', the lettering shall be located below the logo and the font is recommended Gothic.
