The 51st RCA General Conference Meeting (GCM) and tis preparatory meetings were held on 22-23 September 2022 at the IAEA Headquarters in Vienna, Austria. After more than two years of restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the representatives from the RCA Government Parties and stakeholders, including the Chairs of the RCA Programme Advisory Committee (PAC) and Working Groups on RCA Medium-Term Strategy as well as delegates from the IAEA and RCA Regional Office gathered in person to attend the meetings.

Having the celebration for the 50th Anniversary of the RCA just around the corner, the 51st GCM discussed the final preparation of the ceremonial events including the first RCA Ministerial Level Meeting and the RCA Exhibition. Preparation for the RCA Programme for the 2024-2025 Technical Cooperation (TC) Cycle, preparation for the RCA Scholarship Programme as well as other RCA policy matters were covered during the Meeting.
