The 33rd RCA General Conference Meeting will be held on 22 September 2004 at IAEA Headquarters in Vienna with participation of delegations from 17 RCA Member States, representatives from RCA Regional Office, and IAEA officers related to RCA.

RCA Member States have had national RCA Representatives Meetings twice a year: once at IAEA Headquarters in Vienna in September in conjunction with the IAEA General Conference, the other one in the region in Spring. At the General Conference Meeting, National RCA Representatives of 17 RCA Member States discuss and endorse major RCA policy matters such as next cycles' RCA cooperative projects.

This year's RCA General Conference Meeting will discuss revision of 'RCA Guidelines and Operating Rules' and finally endorse the 2005-06 cycles RCA cooperative projects. In connection with the General Conference, the RCA Chairs meeting and the RCARO Advisory Committee meeting will be held just prior to the General Conference meeting. The Quadripartite meeting among regional cooperative frameworks that have been established under the aegis of IAEA will also be held on 23 September 2004 at IAEA Headquarters.
