The 53rd RCA General Conference Meeting was held on 13 September 2024 at the IAEA Headquarters in Vienna, Austria, attended by representatives from the RCA GPs, RCA PAC, RCARO and representatives of the IAEA, including Mr Hua Liu, DDG-TC, Najat Mokhtar, DDG-NA, Mr Gashaw Wolde, Section Head of TCAP, and Ms Khemphone Phaokhamkeo, RCA Focal Person. 

The Meeting reviewed and discussed various policy issues related to the RCA and its Program. The agenda included the implementation of the current RCA programs, update on the RCA Social and Economic Impact Assessment, pathways for new membership to the RCA, report on RCA PAC and report on the activities of the RCARO. 

The participants shared their views and insights on the recommendations made during the Meeting. The final report and its annexes will be uploaded on the RCA website in due course.
