The Vietnam Atomic Energy Institute (VINATOM) is hosting the 16th Vietnam Conference on Nuclear Science and Technology (VINANST-16), scheduled to take place in Da Nang City from October 8 to 10, 2025. This biennial event aims to bring together Vietnamese and international scientists, researchers, and experts to exchange information and present the latest research findings in various fields of nuclear science and technology .​

VINANST-16 will feature sessions on topics including nuclear power development, reactor physics, radiation safety, applications of nuclear techniques in healthcare, industry, and agriculture, as well as radiochemistry and radioactive waste management. The conference will be held in a hybrid format, allowing both in-person and online participation. Researchers interested in presenting are invited to submit extended abstracts by May 1, 2025, with full-text reports due by July 15, 2025. Accepted papers may be selected for publication in the Journal of Nuclear Science and Technology.
