The 54th RCA General Conference Meeting (GCM) held on 12 September 2025 at the IAEA HeadquartersThe 54th RCA General Conference Meeting (GCM) was held on 12 September 2025 at the IAEA Headquarters in Vienna, chaired by Fiji. Representatives from 19 RCA Government Parties, the IAEA, RCARO, and observers from Pacific island countries participated. Mr Rafael Mariano Grossi (DG), attended the meeting and officially launched the publications of the RCA socio economic impact assessment on air quality and food safety. The Meeting reviewed the implementation of RCA programme, project development for 2026–2027 and 2028-2029, governance matters, and RCARO activities. Arrangements were also confirmed for the 48th NRM in India in 2026.

The 41st Meeting of the RCARO SAC was held at the IAEA Headquarters on 11 September 2025The 41st Meeting of the RCARO Standing Advisory Committee (SAC) was held on 11 September 2025 at the IAEA Headquarters in Vienna, Austria, with the participation of representatives from Fiji, China, the Republic of Korea, India, the IAEA, and RCARO, as well as officials from Australia and Japan as observers. The Meeting reviewed the mid-term implementation of RCARO’s 2025 activities, including outreach initiatives to enhance RCA’s visibility, the outcomes of the regional workshop on women in nuclear, capacity-building programmes, and partnership activities, and considered a concept note on future outreach and collaboration. The outcomes of the Meeting were reported to the 54th RCA General Conference Meeting for consideration by the National RCA Representatives.
