(27 Dec. 06) Under the RCARO initiated 2006 RCA Post-doctoral Fellowship Programme, Dr. Obeysekara Hinguruwana, Consultant Oncologist from Teaching Hospital, Sri Lanka, successfully completed his 6-month post-doctoral fellowship programme. As a post-doc fellow, he participated in the R&D project on Functional Foods for Body Protection using Radiation in the Programme at Jeongeup (a branch of the Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute located in the southern area in Korea) from 7 July to 31 December 2006 at KAERI. Mr Kun-Mo Choi, Director of RCARO, recognized the completion of Dr Hinguruwana's post-doc fellowship programme by presenting a certificate on 27 Dec 2006.
