A side event on Electron Beams : An Advanced Nulcear Technology for Solving Today's Challenges was held on 26 November during the IAEA's Ministerial Conference held on 26-28 November 2024 at the IAEA Headquarters. Organised by the Uniated States of America, the event explored the electron beam technology and its potential to address many of today's various challenges such as water, food and health area as an advanced technology. 

 

 The event was successfully held with participation of a large audience from the United States, Republic of Korea and IAEA as well as delegates from IAEA Member States. Mr Dae Ki KIM, Director of the RCA Regional Office also participated in the event to discuss and share views on the electron beam technology and the implemenation of the electron beam project in partnership with the US DOE.
