    A radiation imaging apparatus including a sensor panel including a first surface provided with a pixel array and an electrical connector and a second surface, and a base configured to support the second surface through first and second members, is provided. In an orthogonal projection to the first surface, the electrical connector is provided between a region provided with the first member provided to overlap the pixel array and an outer edge of the panel and the second member is provided to overlap the electrical connector. The second member is fixed to at least one of the second surface, the base, and the first member, and a passage extending from the first member to the outer edge is provided between the second surface and the base not to overlap the second member in an orthogonal projection to the first surface.

    The present disclosure provides a thermomechanical actuator and a cleaning system implementing the thermomechanical actuator. The thermomechanical actuator includes a solar heat collector (SHC) housing shape memory alloy springs connected between a piston movably disposed therein and one end of the SHC. A cable extending from the piston through an opposite end of the SHC is connected to a bias load that develops returning force on the springs. In presence of solar radiation, the springs contract and cause linear movement of the piston in a direction of contraction and, in absence of the solar radiation, the springs expand and cause linear movement of the piston in direction of expansion. Useful power and work is extracted in form of the cleaning system from such linear movement of the piston.

    Methods and systems are disclosed for generating an active oxygen species. A photoreactor has a reaction chamber, where an inlet to the reaction chamber is configured to be coupled to an oxygen source that contains molecular oxygen. An optical excitation source is optically coupled to the reaction chamber and is configured to generate radiation in an ultraviolet wavelength range. The radiation excites a proportion of the molecular oxygen in the reaction chamber, without the use of a plasma generator, to form atomic oxygen such that the atomic oxygen is able to react with the molecular oxygen in the reaction chamber to form ozone. An outlet from the reaction chamber is configured to emit a gas mixture comprising the atomic oxygen, the molecular oxygen, and the ozone.

In one or more examples, the systems, devices, and methods include forming a nanostructure on the passivation layer, the nanostructure to allow the electromagnetic radiation to pass through the nanostructure and steer the electromagnetic radiation linearly towards the photodetector, and forming a microlens on the nanostructure, the microlens including at least one of a flat coat layer or a curved lensing layer.

    Systems and methods are presented for acquiring MRI images based on low-abundance molecules in a subject or a portion thereof. The acquired MRI images can then be used to determine a biological status of the subject or the portion thereof. The systems and methods generally utilize a target molecule containing at least two nuclear spins. When the subject or the portion thereof is placed in the magnetic field of an MRI machine, MRI-active molecules in the subject or the portion thereof generate magnetization. Target magnetization associated with the target molecule or a metabolic derivative thereof is selectively preserved utilizing the corresponding J-coupling network. Non-target magnetization associated with other MRI-active molecules is suppressed and nearly all of the MRI signal results from the target magnetization. The systems and methods may allow for the acquisition of MRI images based on a single low- abundance molecule, free of confounding background signals from higher-abundance molecules.
