    Disclosed is a system and method for the controlled clustering of gene regulatory proteins at the specific target genomic loci. The technology enables formation of liquid-like droplets closely interfaced with genome organization. This technology can be utilized for perturbing endogenous nuclear structures as well as nucleating synthetic membrane-less assemblies. The technology can also be utilized for inducing or detecting mechanical stresses within the genome.

The communication method includes: in response to impact of a maximum permissible exposure MPE, recording radiation impact information generated due to the impact of the MPE; receiving a first radio resource control RRC reconfiguration message from a source base station; recording a measurement report; and sending the measurement report and the radiation impact information to the source base station. According to embodiments of this application, impact of the MPE on mobility can be reduced, and a handover success rate can be increased.

An antenna is for wireless transmission of data to an external device and is in the form of conical spiral in an overall conical shape, located for optimum space efficiency in a domed end. A battery compartment is at the opposed end of the housing, separated from the antenna by the external space.

At least some of the pairs of overlapping segments are configured so that the instantaneous direction of a first current formed on the first segment in response to RF radiation emitted by the second radiating element will be substantially opposite the instantaneous direction of a second current formed on the second segment in response to the RF radiation.

    A device and method of use for the calibration of a detector. The calibration device includes a first source configured to produce first electromagnetic energy EMR. A first diffuser is connected to the first source and is configured to accept the first EMR and provide a first diffused portion of the first EMR. An integrating sphere defines an interior and is optically connected to the first diffuser, and is configured to accept the first diffused portion from the first diffuser into the interior. An exit port connected to the integrating sphere is configured to pass at least a portion of electromagnetic energy. A thermal mechanism is configured to adjust and maintain the temperature of at least the first source. The integrating sphere is configured to pass only a second portion of the first diffused portion of the first EMR from the first diffuser to the exit port. In another embodiment, the calibration device has an arm, an actuator, and a module. The module supports at least a first source that emits electromagnetic energy, a thermal mechanism, and a controller. The actuator is configured to move the arm and module to a calibration position enabling the first source to be within the line of sight of an external detector, while the controller is configured to control the thermal mechanism enabling precise temperature regulation of the source and therefore the regulation of the emitted electromagnetic energy. When the device is not in the calibration position, the actuator is configured to move the arm and module to a stowed position, protecting the device from ambient electromagnetic radiation and harm.
