    A main object of the present invention is to provide a novel crystal of 2-{4-N-(5,6-diphenylpyrazin-2-yl)-N-isopropylaminobutyloxy}acetic acid (hereinafter referred to as “Compound B”). A form-I crystal of Compound B, which shows peaks at diffraction angles (2θ) of 6.4°, 8.1°, 9.5°, 10.9°, 13.2°, 15.7°, 17.0°, 19.5°, 20.3°, 21.0°, and 22.8° in a powder X-ray diffraction spectrum obtained using a Cu-Kα radiation (λ=1.54 Å). A form-II crystal of Compound B, which shows peaks at diffraction angles (2θ) of 9.6°, 11.4°, 11.7°, 16.3°, 17.5°, 18.5°, 18.7°, 19.9°, 20.1°, 21.0°, and 24.6° in a powder X-ray diffraction spectrum obtained using a Cu-Kα radiation (λ=1.54 Å).

    Semiconductor devices with antennas and electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding, and associated systems and methods, are described herein. In one embodiment, a semiconductor device includes a semiconductor die coupled to a package substrate. An antenna structure is disposed over and/or adjacent the semiconductor die. An electromagnetic interference (EMI) shield is disposed between the semiconductor die and the antenna structure to shield at least the semiconductor die from electromagnetic radiation generated by the antenna structure and/or to shield the antenna structure from interference generated by the semiconductor die. A first dielectric material and/or a thermal interface material can be positioned between the semiconductor die and the EMI shield, and a second dielectric material can be positioned between the EMI shield and the antenna structure. In some embodiments, the semiconductor device includes a package molding over at least a portion of the antenna, the EMI shield, and/or the second dielectric material.

    An apparatus and method produce, from a Gaussian laser pulse, a sequence of laser rings having a spatiotemporal configuration such that impingement of the laser rings on a surface of a nuclear material in a target assembly produces constructively interfering shock waves that converge on a focal region of the nuclear material, thereby producing sufficient pressures and temperatures to form tritium in the focal region. The temporal and/or spatial intervals between the concentric pulsed laser rings are adjusted to substantially match propagation times of impingement from one ring to the next in a shock propagation layer of the target assembly. A second laser or neutron tube may be used to create a cavitation bubble at the focus. In addition to the shock waves generated in the plane of the surface, through-plane shock waves can be generated to increase the overall shock pressure.

    An optical physiological sensor configured to perform high speed spectral sweep analysis of sample tissue being measured to non-invasively predict an analyte level of a patient. An emitter of the optical physiological sensor can be regulated to operate at different temperatures to emit radiation at different wavelengths. Variation in emitter drive current, duty cycle, and forward voltage can also be used to cause the emitter to emit a range of wavelengths. Informative spectral data can be obtained during the sweeping of specific wavelength regions of sample tissue.

    An optical stack includes a substrate, a radio-wave anti-reflection sheet configured to reduce reflection from the optical stack of radio waves at a predetermined operating frequency, and a visible light reflective, infrared light transmissive multilayer optical film disposed between the radio-wave anti-reflection sheet and the substrate. For radiation substantially normally incident on the radio-wave anti-reflection sheet and for a first frequency range at least 20 GHz wide, centered on the predetermined operating frequency, and disposed between about 1 GHz and about 120 GHz, a return loss of the optical stack is asymmetric about the predetermined operating frequency in the first frequency range. The optical stack has a largest return loss S11L in the first frequency range of less than −10 dB and a difference between the largest return loss S11L and a smallest return loss S11S in the first frequency range is less than about 2 dB.

    Disclosed are a dynamic disturbance-induced rock burst test device and a test method. The test device comprise a supporting platform, a plurality of loading plates, an electromagnetic pulse emitting system, an acoustic emission monitoring system, a high-speed camera, an electromagnetic radiation detecting system and a confining pressure servo control loading system. The plurality of loading plates are arranged on a side wall of a coal rock sample and are placed inside a square chest, the electromagnetic pulse emitting system and the confining pressure servo control loading system are arranged inside a bar system, and an acoustic emission probe is arranged inside the loading plate. A three-dimensional real stress environment of the coal rock is simulated by simulating a shear stress through friction between the loading plate and the sample, as well as dynamic and static combined loading of multi-axial and multi-directional static confining pressure and stress wave disturbance.

In one embodiment, the radiation-sensitive semiconductor substrate includes cadmium zinc telluride (CZT), and the semiconductor material layer includes Cd1-xZnxTeyS1-y, where 0≤x≤0.5 and 0≤y≤0.5. Further embodiments include methods of fabricating a radiation detector that include exposing a surface of a radiation-sensitive semiconductor material substrate to a gas containing hydrogen sulfide at an elevated temperature to form a sulfide-containing semiconductor material layer.
