(06 Dec. 05) An informal brain-storming meeting on RCARO initiated RCA-UNDP Environment Project with emphasis on the post-tusnami environmental impact was held at the Philippine Nuclear Research Institute (PNRI) on 06 December 2005 with the participation of Dr Alumanda dela Rosa, Director of PNRI, Dr Fauzi Mantoura, Director, IAEA's Marine Environment Laboratory (MEL) in Monaco, Dr Elvira Sombrito, RCA's marine environment project lead country coordinator, and Mr John Chung, Programme Officer of RCARO. They exchanged views on preparing a concept paper for the RCA-UNDP Environment Project which will be implemented from the latter part of 2006.
