Launch of a test operation of the RCA Integrated Information System

RCA Regional Office (RCARO) is scheduled to launch a test operation of the RCA Integrated Information System as of 6 July 2022, which is composed of RCA Regional Office E-Management Service (ROEM), RCA E-CAMPUS, and DATA-HUB.

While continuing its role as a repository for overall information and documents on the RCA and its Programme, new platforms have been developed with the aim to provide expanded nuclear science and technology information and comprehensive online services to the RCA Government Parties (GPs).

A dedicated platform for RCARO activities called RCA Regional Office E-Management Service (ROEM) was established, where RCA experts can easily access the information of and participate in various activities managed and initiated by RCARO. Applications for the activities carried out by the RCARO must be submitted through the ROEM platform. The NRs are encouraged to nominate online all potential applicants to participate in the activities such as training courses, meetings, surveys, research projects. The applicants can also download the nomination form from the platform.

The RCA E-CAMPUS was upgraded to assist the RCA GPs in conducting online activities, such as virtual meetings and training activities, in addition to provision of e-learnings.

Moreover, another platform of DATA-HUB is being developed to archive the regional data related to nuclear science and technology, including human/institutional resources and technological status, as well as the details and outputs of RCA projects. This platform will start its test operation in the third quarter of 2022.
