'Nuclear Safety School' Established at KINS, Korea Safety Courses for Executive Managers of Nuclear-related Industry Functioning as Int'l Nuclear Safety Specialized Educational Institution

The Nuclear Safety School (NSS) recently established within the Korea Institute of Nuclear Safety (KINS) is also opened for various education and training requirements in nuclear safety of RCA Member States. The NSS will mainly undertake general safety education and training courses for executive managers of local nuclear industry, government safety related authorities, in particular with regard to emergency preparedness, and even for the general public interested in nuclear safety. At the same time, the NSS has a strong intention to organize safety education and training courses jointly with IAEA/RCA, OECD/NEA and other international safety related organizations. The NSS was officially opened on 31 March 2004 at KINS.
